Distribution of duties among deputy ministers at the Ministry of Interior has been determined
The areas of responsibility for deputy ministers within the Ministry of Interior have been reorganized. With the new assignments, it has been clarified which deputy minister will oversee affiliated units, including the Police, Gendarmerie, AFAD, and the Presidency of Migration Management.

The areas of responsibility for the deputy ministers serving at the Ministry of Interior have been determined.
A new distribution of duties regarding affiliated units has been established for deputy ministers Ali Çelik, Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı, Bülent Turan, and Mehmet Cangir.
According to the statement made by the Ministry, the areas of responsibility for the affiliated institutions and organizations within the organizational structure have been redistributed.
Accordingly;
Deputy Minister Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı will be responsible for the Gendarmerie General Command, the Coast Guard Command, the Department of Education, the Department of Internal Security Strategies, the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy, and the Press and Public Relations Consultancy.
Deputy Minister Bülent Turan will oversee the General Directorate of Legal Services, the General Directorate of Relations with Civil Society, the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs, the Internal Audit Unit, the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Relations Unit, the Security and Emergency Coordination Center (GAMER), and the Center for Research and Studies (AREM).
Deputy Minister Ali Çelik will be responsible for the General Directorate of Security, the General Directorate of Provincial Administration, the Department of Strategy Development, the Department of Support Services, the Department of Smuggling, Intelligence, Operations, and Information Gathering (KİHBİ), and the Police Academy.
Deputy Minister Mehmet Cangir will coordinate the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), the Presidency of Migration Management, the General Directorate of Personnel, the General Directorate of Information Technologies, the Department of EU and Foreign Relations, and the Presidency of the Provincial Services Union.
Furthermore, it was reported that in the event that one of the deputy ministers is not on duty, the next deputy minister in the order of writing will serve as a proxy; and that the Civil Inspection Board, the General Secretariat, and the Ministry Private Office will report directly to the Ministry Office.
