Diyanet issues one-sentence November 10 message for Atatürk
The Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) published a commemoration message on the 87th anniversary of the passing of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, stating, "We commemorate the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with respect and gratitude on the 87th anniversary of his passing."

The Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) has published a message on the occasion of the 87th anniversary of the passing of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
"WE COMMEMORATE WITH RESPECT AND GRATITUDE"
The message published by the Presidency included the following statements:
"We commemorate the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with respect and gratitude on the 87th anniversary of his passing.
On this occasion, we pray to Almighty God for mercy upon all the heroes of our national struggle, who represented the existential effort of our noble nation and served as a source of inspiration for the oppressed in many parts of the world. We view it as an indispensable duty to preserve and carry into the future our heavenly homeland and values, which our ancestors entrusted to us through great sacrifices. With this understanding, our Presidency continues to work with all its members for the survival of our state and the peace of our nation in order to carry our civilizational heritage into the future."
