The 2025 budget for the Presidency of Religious Affairs was set at 130 billion 119 million TL. However, when this budget is insufficient, AKP-run municipalities step in.
According to a report by Deniz Ayhan from Sözcü, the Kahramanmaraş Municipality covered the expenses for the Hafiz Motivation Camp organized by the Presidency of Religious Affairs. A total of 670 thousand TL was spent from the municipal budget for the three-day event.
The event, held at a campsite affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Kula, Manisa, was attended by 150 hafiz students from the center and districts of Kahramanmaraş. Throughout the event, various activities were organized to contribute to the students' social and cultural development.
