The investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the murder of Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found in the Eğertutmaz Stream on September 8 after she went missing on August 21 in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of the central Bağlar district, continues.

In a statement to journalists at the Diyarbakır Bar Association Meeting Hall, Eren said that Narin's murder has caused significant repercussions in the country and will be a milestone for similar case files.

Noting that the Diyarbakır Bar Association has contributed to the efforts from the very first moment, Eren stated that as of today, the bar association has applied to the investigation file as a plaintiff to ensure justice for Narin and to ensure that the perpetrators receive the punishment they deserve.

Eren spoke as follows:

"The Diyarbakır Bar Association has applied to the file as a plaintiff for our Narin. In legal processes, we call this 'joining status.' Since all family members are in the position of suspects in this case file and have previously had their statements taken as suspects, they cannot gain the status of plaintiff. Therefore, we have submitted a written application to be officially included in the file with the status of plaintiff."
