DMM and Minister Koca respond to claims that '46 ambulances entered the Cizre State Hospital morgue'

The Center for Combating Disinformation and Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca have denied the claim that "46 ambulances entered the Cizre State Hospital morgue."

The Presidential Communications Directorate's Center for Combating Disinformation stated that the claim shared by some social media accounts, "46 ambulances entered the Cizre State Hospital morgue. The morgue and the hospital have been closed to civilians," does not reflect the truth.

In a statement made from the center's social media account, it was noted that there is no such density in the Cizre State Hospital morgue as claimed, and the following expressions were included: "The claim that '46 ambulances entered the Cizre State Hospital morgue. The morgue and the hospital have been closed to civilians' is not true. The hospital continues to provide health services to our citizens without interruption. Do not give credence to the manipulative posts of terrorist organization sympathizers on social media."

FAHRETTİN KOCA ALSO MADE A STATEMENT

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca also made a statement regarding the claim in question.

Minister Koca noted the following in his statement on his social media account:

"The claim being spread through some social media accounts that 'the morgue and hospital were closed to civilians because a large number of ambulances entered the Cizre State Hospital morgue' is baseless. Our hospital continues to provide health services to our citizens without any of its units being closed. The purpose of the claims on social media is clear. This purpose is to make our state appear weak. The authors of these claims are those who sympathize with the terrorist organization instead of being loyal to their country and nation."
