DMM: It is of critical importance that our citizens rely on official statements

In a post shared on the DMM's social media account, it was stated, "It has been determined that content aimed at exploiting the unfortunate incident that occurred in Kahramanmaraş, weakening the bond between the state and the nation, casting suspicion on our public institutions, and creating a social fracture through disinformation and provocations is being circulated.

All relevant units of our state are on alert in full coordination to protect public order against these centers that are conducting a perception operation and psychological warfare by exploiting the sensitivities of our people.

Necessary judicial processes and technical investigations have been initiated from the very first moment regarding all individuals and content that threaten social peace by spreading dirty information, incite the public to hatred and hostility, and produce provocative content.

It is of critical importance that our citizens do not give credence to posts intended for black propaganda and psychological warfare, remain sensitive, and rely only on official statements made by authorized bodies," the statement read.
