The Presidency's Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) has announced that claims circulating on some social media accounts, suggesting that certain images show the wreckage of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's crashed helicopter, do not reflect the truth.

In a statement issued by the DMM, it was stated that the images shared on some social media accounts with the claim that they "belong to the wreckage of Iranian President Raisi's crashed helicopter" are not accurate.

The statement noted that the photos in question were recorded following a crash involving a helicopter belonging to the Texas Department of Public Safety in January 2024, and it was emphasized that the photos have no connection to the helicopter crash in which Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi lost his life.
