DNA match found in sample taken from Narin's uncle's vehicle

The DNA sample taken from the vehicle of the uncle, who was detained in connection with the case of Narin Güran, who has been missing for 11 days in Diyarbakır, has matched the DNA sample found on Narin's clothing.

The investigation initiated by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the disappearance of Narin Güran in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of the central Bağlar district on August 21 is ongoing.

As part of the investigation, statements were taken from family members and residents of the neighborhood.

While search efforts have continued for 11 days, S.G., the headman of Tavşantepe village and also the uncle of Narin Güran, was detained due to new evidence obtained within the scope of the investigation.

As a result of the examination, it was determined that the DNA sample in S.G.'s vehicle matched the DNA sample on the young girl's clothing.
