DNA samples matched: Narin's uncle arrested

Uncle S.G., who was detained as part of the investigation into Narin Güran, from whom no news has been heard since she left a Quran course in Diyarbakır, was referred to the court with a request for arrest following his processing by the Gendarmerie.

Narin's uncle S.G., for whom all of Diyarbakır has been mobilized for 13 days, was brought to court to be arrested. Tavşantepe Neighborhood Headman Salim Güran, who was detained 2 days ago, has been arrested.

It has emerged that the reason for the uncle's arrest is TCK 109 "deprivation of liberty" and TCK 81 "intentional homicide."

On the other hand, Gendarmerie teams have initiated a search at the home of another uncle of Narin Güran, A.R.G., who resides in the city center of Diyarbakır. The teams' search efforts are ongoing.

DNA SAMPLE HAD MATCHED

The DNA sample found in the uncle's vehicle had matched the DNA sample on Narin Güran's clothing. It was determined that the uncle had left the village 15 minutes after the last moment Narin was seen.

According to the report by Halk TV, it was determined that the uncle had used a special application to delete all messages and call records on his phone during the investigation.

STATEMENTS OF 130 PEOPLE TAKEN

Approximately 150 vehicles identified as passing by during the hours Narin went missing were questioned. Searches were conducted in the houses in the neighborhood and in vehicles entering the village. To date, a total of 12,565 vehicles have been searched, the statements of 130 people have been taken, 32,952 people have been checked, and a search has been conducted in an area of more than 11 thousand decares with 7 tracking dogs.

OLDER BROTHER HAD ALSO BEEN DETAINED

Within the scope of the investigation, Narin Güran's older brother E.G. (18) had been detained due to bite marks on his arm. E.G. was released after the examination at the Istanbul Council of Forensic Medicine could not determine whether the bite marks belonged to Narin.
