In 2023, 4 of the 10 most-watched films in cinemas were domestic productions. This shows that domestic films are receiving increasing interest at the box office.

A total of 491 films were released during the year, and the total number of viewers was recorded as 31 million 280 thousand 896. The film "Rafadan Tayfa Galaktik Tayfa" grossed 170 million 239 thousand liras, becoming the most-watched and highest-grossing film of the year.
