It has emerged that the drawing made by Hifa İkra Şengüler, who was found dead in Istanbul on the Kazlıçeşme coast alongside her mother Fatmanur Çelik, for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, has been exhibited at the Sancaktepe metro station. Sharing the drawing on his social media account, İmamoğlu posted an emotional message for Hifa İkra and said, "For the sake of Hifa İkra, everything will be very beautiful."
STRUGGLE FOR JUSTICE
Hifa İkra Şengüler had been abused and forcibly married at a young age by Ayhan Şengüler, an administrator at the Kurana Hizmet Foundation. Years later, when Hifa İkra's daughter also revealed that her father had abused her, it led Fatmanur Çelik to launch a struggle for justice. However, in a tragic turn of events, the mother and daughter were found dead on the Zeytinburnu coast.
This incident shook the Turkish public agenda and caused a major outcry. Hifa İkra's life, the tragedy experienced by her family, and their struggle for justice were deeply felt by a broad segment of society.

It turns out our paths crossed in our 'Yuvamız İstanbul' (Our Home Istanbul) project, in the dream of a beautiful future, my daughter Hifa İkra. You wandered in the garden of our nursery, among games and hopes."
In his message, Ekrem İmamoğlu emphasized that every child has the right to grow up in safety, saying, "Every child born in these lands is born with the right to grow up in safety. Every soul is entrusted to us; the responsibility for every life is great. Looking at this hopeful drawing, I felt this weight once again."
Concluding his message by stating that there is no room for despair, İmamoğlu said, "But there is no despair. We will continue the struggle so that no child in this country is left unprotected," and used the phrase "everything will be very beautiful" for the sake of Hifa İkra.
