In the accident, which took place around 10:00 a.m. on the Northern Marmara Motorway near Çatalca, the luxury vehicle went out of control after the driver lost steering control and struck the barriers at the petrol station exit.
Kalyon Holding Executive Board Member İsmail Özhan Özmen, who was in the vehicle, was seriously injured, while his driver, Emre Yıldızcan, died.
While Özmen was taken to the hospital, the damaged vehicle was towed to a parking lot with the help of a tow truck.
