Driver hits woman walking on the road and flees
In the Uzunköprü district of Edirne, a woman was seriously injured after being struck by a car while walking with her husband; the driver fled the scene.

In the incident that occurred on İnönü Street in Uzunköprü, a car struck a woman who was walking on the side of the road with her husband, whose names have not yet been learned, and then fled.
CRITICAL CONDITION
Upon the notification of citizens in the vicinity, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Following the initial intervention by medical teams, the injured woman was taken to Uzunköprü State Hospital by ambulance. It was learned that the woman is in critical condition.
Police teams have launched a large-scale operation to apprehend the fleeing driver.
