Drivers take note: Some roads in Istanbul to be closed to traffic
Some roads in Istanbul will be closed to traffic due to the opening ceremony of the Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line. AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is also expected to attend the opening ceremony.

The Istanbul Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch has determined the roads to be closed to traffic and alternative routes as part of the Istanbul programs of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan today.
Accordingly, as of 8:00 PM last night (February 25), the State Railways parking lot was closed to vehicle entry, and vehicles will not be admitted to the Kazlıçeşme Marmaray İSPARK area from 8:00 PM until the end of the program.
Starting from 6:00 AM today (February 26) until the end of the program, the IETT Kazlıçeşme terminal will also be closed to use.
While Sirkeci Station Street will be closed as of 7:00 AM today until the end of the program, drivers will be able to use Sahil Kennedy and Ankara streets as alternative routes.
