In Bingöl, in the Eski Hal area of the Bahçelievler neighborhood, a drug addict stabbed a person he was arguing with at around 13:30. While fleeing, the suspect also attacked bystanders with a knife.
While 9 people were injured in the incident, health and police teams were dispatched to the neighborhood upon notification. The injured were taken to the Bahçelievler Family Health Center and Bingöl State Hospital.
Two of the injured who were taken under treatment could not be saved despite the efforts of the doctors. Meanwhile, the moments when the suspect stabbed a person were captured on security cameras.
The police, who launched an investigation into the incident, caught and took the suspect into custody.
