Drug and prostitution investigation expands: Detention order for CHP deputy's son

A notable decision has been made in the drug and prostitution investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

It has been learned that a detention order was issued for Oğuzhan Beker, the son of CHP Ankara Deputy Adnan Beker, as part of the ongoing investigation by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

It was stated that investigations into allegations of drugs and prostitution are continuing in the case, which has come to the public agenda as an investigation targeting famous names.

It was reported that a detention order was also issued for Oğuzhan Beker in line with the work carried out within the scope of the investigation.

While it was learned that the investigation, coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, is ongoing, the judicial process regarding the file also continues.

ADNAN BEKER: ''IT IS OUT OF THE QUESTION FOR HIM TO BE A FUGITIVE''

In a statement regarding the matter on his social media account, Beker used the following expressions:

''We learned about such a decision regarding my son Oğuzhan Beker through social media while we were at home, both he and I.

It is out of the question for him to be a fugitive. He will immediately go to the police and fulfill all his obligations.

He has neither used the drug substance in question himself nor has he caused any person to use it.

I will be following the process.''
