Drug operation at Antalya Airport: 18 kilos of drugs seized in two suitcases
Customs Enforcement teams found drugs in the suitcases of two suspects entering Turkey at Antalya Airport.

In an operation conducted by the Ministry of Trade's Customs Enforcement teams at Antalya Airport, a total of 18 kilograms and 921 grams of drugs were seized.
According to the statement made by the Ministry, the Antalya Customs Enforcement Smuggling and Intelligence Directorate teams followed two suspects entering Turkey by air as part of efforts to combat drug trafficking.
During a detailed search of the two suitcases belonging to the suspects, 6 kilograms and 571 grams of drugs hidden in plastic bottles were detected. As the checks continued, an additional 12 kilograms and 350 grams of drugs were found, which had been soaked into various items of clothing and belongings.
The drugs seized as a result of the operation were confiscated. An investigation has been launched into the suspects by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
