Drug test results for Bilal Hancı and İbrahim Barut released

A new development has occurred in the drug investigation targeting celebrities. It was reported that the drug test results for some of the individuals who were detained and placed under judicial control as part of the investigation have been finalized.

DETENTION ORDERS ISSUED FOR 7 PEOPLE

It was announced that detention orders were issued for 7 people on January 20 as part of the investigation. During this process, it was announced that Abdi İbrahim board member İbrahim Barut, Huzur Giyim owner Abdullah Gençal, journalist Mehmet Üstündağ, and social media influencer Bilal Hancı had been detained.

JUDICIAL CONTROL AND ARREST DECISIONS ANNOUNCED

Following the evaluation, it was reported that an arrest warrant was issued for Abdullah Gençal. For Bilal Hancı, it was ruled that "house arrest" and a "travel ban" would be applied. It was announced that judicial control measures in the form of a "travel ban" and "reporting to the police station" were implemented for İbrahim Barut and Mehmet Üstündağ.

DRUG TEST RESULTS RELEASED 

According to the report by journalist Mustafa Kadir Mercan, the drug tests performed on Bilal Hancı and İbrahim Barut returned positive. It was stated that the test results have been added to the investigation file.

CONFESSION FROM BİLAL HANCI 

It was learned that Bilal Hancı admitted to using drugs in his statement. It was noted that Hancı stated he had been going through a difficult period psychologically following his traumatic divorce process in 2024.

In his statement, Hancı, who reported using cocaine in Amsterdam, noted that he had never used drugs before. It was stated that after returning to Turkey, he used them approximately once a month during periods when he felt very bad.

In his statement, Hancı indicated that he did not supply drugs to anyone and did not offer drugs to any person. It was noted that he said he had never seen Kasım Garipoğlu, had not gone to his house, and had not attended any of his events.
