According to the statement made by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the tremor, with its epicenter in Karlıova, occurred at a depth of 11.88 kilometers.
In a statement shared on the Bingöl Governor's Office social media account, it was stated, "We experienced a 4.2-magnitude earthquake at 18:27 with its epicenter in Karlıova.
According to initial assessments, there has been no loss of life or property. May God protect our nation from all kinds of disasters."
