Earthquake offenders will not be able to benefit from the regulations introduced in the 11th Judicial Package at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly.

During the 11th Judicial Package deliberations at theGrand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly,it was determined that under theLaw on the Execution of Penal and Security Measures, specifically the amendment made toProvisional Article 10,those who committed crimes before July 31, 2023, will not be eligible.of those who commit three years early to openpen penal institutions and/or the opportunity to be separated into supervised release, theregulation was included. Earthquake offenderswere excluded from the scope.
