The statement noted that following the earthquake that occurred in the Noto region in the evening, a seismic intensity of 5+ was observed in Toyama Prefecture, a level not previously experienced. It was stated that the team was temporarily evacuated but that everyone is safe. Furthermore, it was emphasized that aftershocks are still continuing and that caution must be exercised.
