According to the statement made by the Governor's Office, heavy snowfall continues to affect the city center and its districts.
Due to heavy snow, education has been suspended today in schools, private educational institutions, and rehabilitation centers in the Muradiye, İpekyolu, Edremit, Tuşba, Başkale, Gürpınar, Özalp, and Çaldıran districts.
Public employees with disabilities, pregnant employees, and those with chronic illnesses have also been granted administrative leave.
It had previously been announced that education was suspended for one day in the Çatak, Bahçesaray, and Saray districts due to adverse weather conditions in the city.
