ARDAHAN

A written statement from the Governor's Office stated that snowfall and blizzards are disrupting transportation throughout the province.

The statement announced that all schools are closed tomorrow due to the transportation disruptions, and added that pregnant and disabled personnel working in public institutions and organizations will also be considered on administrative leave on the same day.

BİNGÖL

A statement from the Karlıova District Governor's Office reported that education has been suspended on Monday, December 25, due to heavy blizzards and icing.

It was noted that pregnant and disabled public employees will also be considered on administrative leave on the same day.

KASTAMONU

A statement from the Kastamonu Governor's Office indicated that heavy snowfall is particularly affecting villages.

The statement included the following remarks:

"As it is assessed that there will be icing on village roads at night following the heavy snowfall in our villages, education and training have been suspended across the province on Monday, exclusively for our students covered by bused education."

ERZURUM

A statement from the Governor's Office reported that education has been suspended for one day in primary and secondary schools in the Aziziye, Palandöken, and Yakutiye districts due to the ongoing heavy snow and adverse weather conditions across the city.

The statement added that pregnant, disabled, and chronically ill personnel working in public institutions in these districts will also be considered on administrative leave on the same day.

Meanwhile, the District Governor's Offices of Çat, Tekman, Karayazı, Hınıs, Aşkale, İspir, and Pasinler also announced that schools have been suspended for one day due to adverse weather conditions.

Ağrı Governor Mustafa Koç stated on his social media account that students are very important to them.

Stating that the safety of students is always their priority, Koç included the following in his statement:

"Our dear children, you are important to us. Due to adverse weather conditions, we have decided to suspend education for 1 day across the province on Monday, 25.12.2023. Your safety is always our priority. Please be careful and stay safe at home."

KARABÜK

Bused education has been suspended for one day in the Eflani and Ovacık districts of Karabük due to snowfall.

BAYBURT

A statement from the Governor's Office stated that in order to prevent potential problems due to the snowfall affecting the entire province, education and training activities have been suspended tomorrow in all official and private levels affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, as well as in special education and rehabilitation centers.

The statement noted that disabled and pregnant personnel working in public institutions will also be considered on administrative leave.

GİRESUN

Heavy rain, which was effective in the lower parts of Giresun, manifested as snow in the higher altitudes. Schools in the Çamoluk district were closed for 1 day due to snowfall.

Education has been suspended for one day in the Refahiye district of Erzincan due to the ongoing heavy snowfall.
