Ekrem İmamoğlu receives his certificate of election: 'We are experiencing this for the second time'

CHP's Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was elected in the March 31 Local Government General Elections, received his certificate of election today. İmamoğlu made statements after receiving his certificate.

İmamoğlu spoke as follows:

"It is, of course, a very special day for me. We are experiencing this for the second time. We are very honored, we are proud, and we are aware of our responsibility. An environment worthy of the people of Istanbul has been provided. In fact, this is a certificate given to 16 million people, a certificate given to me. May God not let us fall short of expectations."
