Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu expressed his support for the decision by Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray not to take the field.
Following scandalous developments ahead of the Super Cup match, which was set to feature Super League champion Galatasaray and Ziraat Turkish Cup winner Fenerbahçe, both teams decided not to take the field after lengthy discussions.
