Ekrem İmamoğlu wishes 'great success' to Murat Kurum

With a decision published in the Official Gazette, two cabinet changes took place simultaneously. Kemal Memişoğlu became the new Minister of Health, while Murat Kurum became the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu also published a message on his social media account wishing both individuals success. It was noted that İmamoğlu wished 'great success' to Murat Kurum, whom he competed against for Istanbul in the local elections.

I congratulate Istanbul Provincial Health Director Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu on becoming the Minister of Health and wish him success in his new role. I also wish Mr. Murat Kurum, whom we competed against in Istanbul during the local elections, great success in his re-appointment as the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
