Elderly woman found dead in her home, neighbors identified as murder suspects
The investigation into the murder of an elderly woman who was attacked and killed in her home in Kırkağaç, Manisa, has been completed. In the incident in Manisa's Kırkağaç district, 85-year-old Ulviye Eskici lost her life after being beaten and having her throat slit. As a result of the investigation, her neighbors, a couple identified as T.K. and M.K., were taken into custody as murder suspects.

The incident occurred in an apartment building in the Tevfikiye neighborhood of Manisa's Kırkağaç district. When neighbors of Ulviye Eskici, who lived alone, went to her home, they discovered the elderly woman's body covered in blood. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene and launched an investigation. After the prosecutor's examination, Eskici's lifeless body was taken to the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. Her relatives and local residents were left in shock by the event.
The Kırkağaç District Police Department Public Security Bureau teams launched an investigation into the murder and took statements from neighbors. During the investigation, it was determined that T.K. (33) and his wife M.K., who lived in the same apartment building, were taken into custody as murder suspects. The couple confessed to the crime during their interrogation at the police station. According to their statements, they had asked Ulviye Eskici for money due to debts they owed to loan sharks, but carried out the attack after she refused their demands.
Ulviye Eskici, a mother of two, was laid to rest today at the Kırkağaç Cemetery.
