Election and alliance message from Şamil Tayyar: We are entering the most turbulent period in political history
In an assessment shared on his social media account, AKP member Tayyar argued that Turkey has entered an early election atmosphere and suggested that alliance balances could be reshaped in the coming period. Tayyar claimed that discussions on the resolution process, the convention process within the CHP, the potential position of the DEM Party, and new transfers in Parliament would stir up politics.

Şamil Tayyar claimed in a post on the social media platform X that a dynamic period has begun in politics. Using the phrases "The ballot box is on the horizon. Politics is heating up," Tayyar argued that significant ruptures could occur in Turkish politics in the coming months.
Tayyar's post coincides with a period in which the recently resurfaced discussions on the resolution process, contacts between political parties, and possible early election scenarios are being debated.
The resolution process and the new alliance claim
In his post, Tayyar suggested that the framework law expected to be prepared regarding the resolution process would further stir the political agenda, and stated that the current structure of the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı) is the most trouble-free political union.
The former AKP member claimed that depending on the course of the resolution process, the DEM Party could position itself "within or alongside" the People's Alliance, while this assessment drew attention as his purely personal political foresight.
YENİ Party assessment
Arguing that the recently established YENİ Party could face difficulties in its search for alliances depending on the stance it takes regarding the resolution process, Tayyar claimed that the party would face limited options, especially due to the 50+1 election system.
Expectation of transfers in Parliament
Referring in his post to claims regarding the closure process of the Future Party (Gelecek Partisi), Tayyar evaluated the current political positions of the Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi), DEVA Party, New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi), and Key Party (Anahtar Parti), suggesting that the parliamentary arithmetic could change significantly as the election process approaches.
Stating that parliamentary transfers could come back onto the agenda, Tayyar used the phrase, "New transfers are at the door."
"Be prepared for all kinds of surprises"
Concluding his post by emphasizing that it was his personal assessment, Şamil Tayyar argued that the coming period would witness developments outside the ordinary in Turkish politics.
Using the phrases "Be prepared for all kinds of surprises, we are entering the most turbulent period in political history," Tayyar's assessments brought discussions regarding a possible election calendar and alliance scenarios back to the forefront in political circles.
