Election prediction from Fatih Altaylı: Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu could win votes from AKP voters in upcoming elections

Journalist Fatih Altaylı wrote in his latest column that Kılıçdaroğlu could receive an "unexpected level" of votes. Stating that AKP voters might shift to the CHP instead of the MHP, Altaylı suggested that Kılıçdaroğlu has begun to split the AKP vote.

In his column, Altaylı stated, "Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu could receive an unexpected number of votes in the upcoming elections. In the past two elections, we saw that voters fleeing the AK Party went to the MHP. This time, there could be a shift toward Kılıçdaroğlu's CHP. Especially if Kılıçdaroğlu also joins the People's Alliance..."

The relevant part of Altaylı's column is as follows:

"Mehmet Ali Kulat, the head of MAK Research, who told me when he participated in my program that Özgür Özel had a very large vote potential, had said, 'But they need to hurry to establish a new party. They shouldn't let August pass. Otherwise, the excitement and momentum of the work will be lost.'

However, even though the time he gave has not yet expired, he began to say in programs he participated in later that the party Özgür Özel would establish could receive around 4-5 percent of the vote.

I don't know what changed in politics to make Kulat's rhetoric change, but I don't think he is being honest. Let me also say this: with this much inconsistency, my door is now closed to him.

However, I have also started to think that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's CHP could receive a higher vote share than expected.

And Kılıçdaroğlu will not get these votes from the 'real CHP' supporters represented by Özgür Özel, but on the contrary, from the AK Party base.

Kılıçdaroğlu has started to split the AK Party's votes, not the CHP's votes anymore.

Because the pro-government television channels, which the AK Party base has watched for years and whose every word they have unconditionally believed, are constantly conducting propaganda for Kılıçdaroğlu.

Kılıçdaroğlu is this good, Kılıçdaroğlu is that good. We misunderstood him; he is actually not a PKK supporter, he is not a FETÖ member at all, he is not a traitor, he is not a liar, but on the contrary, he is a truth-teller, and everything he says is documented.

Praise and tributes for Kılıçdaroğlu are being made on all pro-government channels.

Constantly.

It is impossible for such intense broadcasting not to affect a voter base that has made it a habit to believe what is said on these channels.

The government media is showing an address to AK Party voters—who are already on shaky ground with the government due to the economic crisis but haven't left yet—where it is acceptable for them to go.

Interestingly, the trolls supporting Kılıçdaroğlu are also working with methods almost identical to the trolls fed by the person who once served as the Communications Director.

As if it were inherited from him.

That is why Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu could receive an unexpected number of votes in the upcoming elections.

In the past two elections, we saw that voters fleeing the AK Party went to the MHP.

This time, there could be a shift toward Kılıçdaroğlu's CHP.

Especially if Kılıçdaroğlu also joins the People's Alliance."
