Elections for Court of Cassation memberships published in the Official Gazette

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette by the Council of Judges and Prosecutors, following the notification from the First Presidency of the Court of Cassation that 16 Court of Cassation membership positions had become vacant, it was decided to elect 8 members to the Court of Cassation. The individuals elected are: Istanbul Anatolian Assize Court President Ahmet Kaya, President of the Justice Academy of Turkey Bekir Altun, Büyükçekmece Judge Çimen Atacan Tuna, Court of Cassation Public Prosecutor Hüseyin Kürşad Serbes, Court of Cassation Rapporteur Judge İbrahim Acarlı, Ministry of Justice Senior Advisor Musa Kanıcı, Court of Cassation Public Prosecutor Niyazi Acar, and Kayseri Regional Court of Justice Chief Public Prosecutor Tolgahan Öztoprak.
