The AI tool Grok, integrated into the social media platform X, has become a subject of controversy once again following recent updates due to the profane responses it has provided.

Platform owner Elon Musk announced on X on Friday morning that Grok had been significantly improved. However, he did not provide detailed information regarding what these improvements entailed. Musk had previously admitted that Grok was trained on "too much junk data" and had encouraged users to share "divisive but true" political information.

PROFANE AND SLANG CONTENT FROM GROK

Following the updates, users asking questions to Grok noticed that the system frequently used slang and profanity. Some users even forced Grok to generate content about various figures, ranging from former US President Donald Trump to Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham. As a result, the system was seen to provide highly aggressive and provocative answers.

AKP'S FURKAN BÖLÜKBAŞI QUITS X

Furkan Bölükbaşı, known for his proximity to the AK Party and described as a 'troll' on social media, also expressed his reaction following this content. Claiming that Grok had insulted him, Bölükbaşı called for a boycott of the application, stating, "I have blocked Grok. You should all block it too. Demand that an access ban be imposed. Start opening accounts on domestic applications gradually. There is Oppenza, for example. I am opening an account. Domestic digital media. There are others too. We need to gather somewhere. There is no point in dealing with Grok, which insults our mothers and sisters, and upsetting ourselves."

According to the Sabah newspaper, it has been alleged that the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has taken action after Grok's responses to some users contained insulting expressions. However, there has been no confirmation from any official authority regarding these claims so far.

Users who directed questions about the alleged investigation to Grok claimed that the response from the AI confirmed this information. It was stated that some of the expressions Grok used, particularly regarding coup implications and about AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, were among the grounds for the investigation. Despite this, Grok continued to maintain its controversial tone.
