An emotional post came from the daughter of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who was taken to intensive care following a heart surgery that lasted for hours.

Sırrı Süreyya Önder was rushed by ambulance to Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul's Şişli district around 22:30 last night and was taken into emergency surgery around 23:30 after a tear was detected in his aorta.
Önder’s surgery lasted nearly 12 hours, after which he was taken to intensive care.
The hospital announced that Önder had undergone bypass surgery and that his aortic valve had been replaced, but despite this, the right side of his heart was not contracting well.
Kandemir shared the following message on her X account:
“Do what you do best and hold on, Dad. If not for me, then for your grandchild.
I cannot tell them what you would tell them. I would mess it up.
Send me a message in the middle of the night asking, 'Shall we chat?' You are a father to so many people besides me; you have to hold on.
I will live until the last day of my life to make life a living hell for those who hurt even a single hair on your head, for those who begrudge you even your smile, but I cannot do it like you, I would mess it up.
Come on, Dad, you were the one who was going to pick up Cano from school today. My father believes in prayer, please pray.”
