EMRA announces service fees for electricity for 2025
Fees to be applied for various services in the electricity sector starting from January 1 have been determined.

The decision of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) regarding the matter was published in the 5th repeated issue of the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, the fees for security deposits, disconnection-reconnection, meter inspection, payment notification, and second notification delivery, which are effective from January 1, have been determined.
The Board decided that the security deposit unit fees effective from January 1, 2025, will be 569 Turkish Lira and 4 kuruş per kilowatt for industrial, public, and private sector subscriber groups; 200 Turkish Lira and 3 kuruş for residential subscribers; 100 Turkish Lira for families of martyrs and combat/disabled veterans; and 270 Turkish Lira and 2 kuruş for agricultural activities, lighting, and other subscribers.
It was decided that the electricity disconnection-reconnection fees will be 106 Turkish Lira and 8 kuruş for low voltage and 799 Turkish Lira and 6 kuruş for medium voltage. The inspection fee for directly connected single-phase active or three-phase active and/or reactive meters was set at 148 Turkish Lira, and the inspection fee for active and/or reactive meters with current transformers and/or voltage transformers was set at 187 Turkish Lira and 5 kuruş.
Additionally, the fees regarding the payment notification and second notification delivery services that authorized supply companies receive from distribution companies were also approved.
Accordingly, the payment notification delivery fee for low voltage became 316 kuruş, and 3 Turkish Lira and 16 kuruş for medium voltage. It was decided that the second notification delivery fee for low voltage would be 6 Turkish Lira and 34 kuruş, and 63 Turkish Lira and 57 kuruş for medium voltage.
Furthermore, EMRA also determined the network operator application and annual operating fee, authorized supply companies' annual operating fee, network operator and authorized supply companies' transaction fee, project approval and acceptance processing fees for roof and facade-mounted solar-based electricity generation facilities of 50 kilowatts and below, and the automatic meter reading system additional data request fee.
The Authority also approved the connection fee for low and medium voltage power lines, the project approval and acceptance fee for solar-based unlicensed electricity generation facilities, and the technical quality measurement service fee.
