Engin Tuncer: It is a violation of public rights for one person to own many apartments

aspects. He argued thatthis practice is problematic.Heemphasized that the right to shelter is a fundamental right. He underlined this.

“THE RIGHT TO SHELTER IS A CONSTITUTIONAL ANDRELIGIOUS RIGHT”

Engin Tuncer stated that one person owning 15, 20, 50, or even 100 apartments undermines social justice, adding, “Hoarding real estate is taking away people's right to shelter. This situation violates the Constitution, the Civil Code, and according to our religion,it constitutes a violation ofpublic rights.”

Tuncer stated that investors turning to housing while it is still in the project phaseon the grounds that it is cheaphas caused prices to rise rapidly, saying, "Different in the third month,different in the fifth month, and at delivery, two-three timesthe price."With the rising prices, thereal needsof people to buy homes are being blocked,” he said.

No one in our family has a second apartment. One should only acquire what one needs; you buy a home to live in, and that is it. If it needs to be changed, you sell it and buy a new one. It is an infringement on the rights of those who will come after us.we do not approve.

“THERE IS NO RENTAL REAL ESTATE IN OUR FAMILY OR COMPANY”

Tuncer emphasized that none of the owners or family members of the Sabri Tuncer companyhave any real estate for rent,stating, “Neither our company nor anyone in our family has a single property for rent.”
