In a statement made by the Ministry, it was recalled that the cholera epidemic has spread across 8 of Sudan's 18 states.

The statement indicated that the number of cholera cases has risen to 6 thousand 618, and the number of those who have lost their lives due to the epidemic has increased to 252.

The rains and floods that have been affecting Sudan since June have led to the spread of cholera. Sudanese authorities declared cholera an epidemic on August 12.

In Sudan, where the war continues, the spread of infectious diseases during this period when the healthcare system is not functioning effectively makes life even more difficult for people.
