Famous musician Ercan Saatçi, who was detained on March 19 as part of a 'corruption' and 'terrorism' investigation launched into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, made statements on his social media account after being released.

Following his release under judicial control with a travel ban, Saatçi shared a photo on Instagram and conveyed the following message:

"I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart and with my most sincere feelings for calling, asking after me, supporting me, giving me strength with their friendship and love, and worrying about me during this unpleasant process. I also want you to know that I am very well and standing tall. I present my respects with the hope of meeting at our postponed concert."

HE HAD BEEN DETAINED

Ercan Saatçi was one of the individuals detained on March 19 as part of the investigation launched into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality on charges of 'terrorism' and 'corruption'. Saatçi was released by the judgeship to which he was referred under judicial control measures.

In his statement, Saatçi defended himself by saying, "A major mistake is being made. I do not accept the accusations leveled against me."
