AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in China, where he traveled for the 25th Council of Heads of State Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
ENERGY AND TRANSPORTATION TO THE FORE
During the meeting between the two leaders, relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, regional developments, and the global agenda were discussed. President Erdoğan emphasized that joint efforts in many areas, particularly energy and transportation, will continue to increase.
ERDOĞAN'S MESSAGE OF SUPPORT FOR THE PEACE PROCESS
President Erdoğan expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Stating that Turkey will continue to contribute to this process, Erdoğan pointed out the importance of the two countries acting in coordination to shape regional development initiatives.
