AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered questions from journalists following his party's group meeting. Erdoğan stated that there is a high probability of holding a bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump within the scope of the NATO Leaders' Summit to be held in Ankara on July 7-8.

Regarding the matter, Erdoğan used the expression, "A one-on-one meeting with Trump at the NATO summit will most likely take place."

TRUMP HAD CONFIRMED HIS VISIT TO ANKARA

US President Donald Trump also touched upon his visit to Turkey during a ceremony held last week for the new Air Force One aircraft that has entered service.

Announcing that he would attend the NATO summit in Ankara, Trump had said, "I will be going to Turkey soon."
