Erdoğan announces: Steel Dome is entering our inventory

In his statement, Erdoğan said the following,
"We are carrying out moves that will add strength to the power of our Armed Forces and carry them to another level. The Steel Dome is entering our inventory, and ASELSAN is gaining new facilities. We do not have the luxury of leaving things to chance; no country that cannot develop its own warfare systems can look to its future with confidence. The fine line that determines the difference between being at the table and being on the menu is the effectiveness of air attack systems. In a very short time, despite all obstacles, we have made very serious progress.
We are bringing the Steel Dome system, consisting of 47 vehicles that will give confidence to friends and fear to enemies, to our country. The Steel Dome is the new phase of our independence. With the Steel Dome, we will move to a different league.
Today, first of all, we are providing our heroic army with the 'Gökkubbe' (Sky Dome) Systems, consisting of a total of 47 vehicles worth 460 million dollars.
I would like to express with an open heart that we have witnessed a show of force. We felt pride in our products. 3 Hisar medium-range air defense systems and 21 vehicles will strengthen us at medium range. The Korkut Air System will be our eyes and ears in the field. These steps will carry our country to a higher league. We will not stop here; we will develop new capabilities and add them to the inventory. With the Steel Dome, we will move to a different league. Aselsan has a critical role in the Steel Dome. Aselsan is preparing the artificial intelligence-supported command system that will ensure real-time operation in the field. Hundreds of air defense systems in the field will act as a single system.
We will develop more systems along with new capabilities and add them to the inventory.
We will now move to a different league in air defense.
With the facilities worth 280 million dollars that we inaugurated today, we are significantly increasing our production capacity.
A second ASELSAN is being born from ASELSAN.
The work we will do here is work related to technology and R&D. The issue is not just money. It is people, people, people..."
