President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the Atatürk Republic Tower Opening Ceremony in Ankara's Keçiören district.

In his speech there, Erdoğan criticized ABB Mayor and CHP's candidate for the new term, Mansur Yavaş, for 'not building roads'.

"A POLITICIAN PROFILE THAT DOES NOT BUILD ROADS HAS BEGUN TO APPEAR"

Erdoğan said the following:

"Are we ready to save our Ankara from the interregnum period of the CHP mentality?

Nothing will come of them. Recently, we see that an understanding of having no projects and no works is being brought to the fore. Can you imagine? A politician profile that does not build roads and does not keep their promises has begun to appear.

Since this gentleman arrived, there is no asphalt, no this, no that on the roads; there is nothing. I am from Ankara; whatever is being done from the airport to the city center, we are the ones doing it. You will already hold them accountable on March 31. Ankara is like this, Istanbul is like this, Izmir is like this. Wherever there is a CHP municipality, everything is falling apart, it is a disgrace.."
