The crisis regarding the inability to secure appointments at state hospitals continues.

While it has become nearly impossible to get appointments, especially in dermatology and dentistry, citizens are being victimized as appointments for examinations or other procedures are being pushed to very distant dates.

It is alleged that complaints regarding the appointment crisis have been conveyed to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

According to a report by the Türkiye newspaper, known for its proximity to the government, the appointment crisis was brought up at the AKP Extended Provincial Chairmen Meeting.

The Provincial Chairmen informed Erdoğan that they have been receiving intense complaints regarding the issue of being unable to secure appointments.

It was stated that Erdoğan requested an explanation from Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu regarding the matter.

Memişoğlu stated that everyone will feel the relief in the system within 4-5 months.

TV SERIES ALSO BROUGHT UP AT THE MEETING

On the other hand, some provincial chairmen conveyed complaints to Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş that TV series are harming the family structure. Minister Göktaş responded to the complaints by saying, “We support programs that strengthen the family structure. Our discussions with channel authorities are ongoing.”
