AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan accepted congratulations for the August 30 Victory Day at the Presidential Palace.

During the ceremony, where the Presidential Guard Regiment Band performed marches, state officials including Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, members of the Presidential Cabinet, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, force commanders, members of parliament, heads of public institutions, as well as foreign mission chiefs and representatives of international organizations, presented their August 30 congratulations to Erdoğan.

HE STEPPED FORWARD WHEN BAHÇELİ ARRIVED

While Erdoğan remained in place to shake hands with those arriving to offer congratulations during the reception, it was noted that he stepped forward when MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli arrived.
