Erdoğan in China for SCO Summit: Welcomed with an official ceremony
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan have arrived in the Chinese city of Tianjin for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit. Erdoğan is scheduled to hold bilateral talks as part of the summit and attend a dinner hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, accompanied by his wife Emine Erdoğan, has traveled to the Chinese city of Tianjin to attend the 25th Council of Heads of State Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Erdoğan and his wife were welcomed by Chinese officials with an official ceremony at Tianjin Airport.
President Erdoğan is expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings with various world leaders today as part of the summit program. In the evening, Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife will host an official dinner in honor of the leaders attending the summit.
The extended session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held tomorrow, on the second day of the summit.
