AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a post on his social media account following his meeting with the family of 14-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who lost his life in a knife attack in Kadıköy.
Sharing a photo taken with Ahmet Minguzzi's family on his social media account, AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan made the following statement regarding the visit:
We came together today with the precious family of our child, Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was brutally murdered in Istanbul in recent months.
In the meeting, which our Minister of Justice also attended, we discussed in detail the legal process carried out following the loss of Mattia Ahmet's life.
There are no words to describe this pain. I once again wish God's mercy upon our child, and patience and fortitude to his family.
We will continue to closely follow the process for the manifestation of justice.
We will continue to work with determination to ensure that such tragic incidents do not happen again.
