Erdoğan's message on dialogue: Attempts to poison the climate of normalization have increased

"DISCUSSIONS ON THE FIRST 4 ARTICLES DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROCESS"

We will work tirelessly and without rest until we reach a fairer world and a more prosperous Turkey. On Tuesday, October 1, we opened the 3rd legislative year of the 28th term at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). In our address to the Assembly, we reaffirmed our demand to save Turkish democracy from the coup constitution as soon as possible and bring it together with a new and civilian constitution. We sincerely hope that all political parties will respond constructively to our call for a new constitution. I would like to express that our party and the People's Alliance have no issues with the first 4 articles of the Constitution, and that the discussions held over the first 4 articles do not contribute to the process.

"ISRAEL WILL NOT BE SATISFIED WITH OCCUPYING LEBANON"

We have expressed at every opportunity that Israel will not stop in Gaza and will set its sights on other countries in the region. Because of these warnings, we were subjected to unfair criticism from some of our friends and certain circles within our country. Israel's arrogance in attacking and threatening the UN Interim Force in Lebanon is sufficient to prove the seriousness of the issue. The image of a UN that cannot even protect its own personnel is shameful and worrying for the international system.

Frankly, we are also wondering what the Security Council is waiting for to stop Israel. Israeli tanks are attacking Peacekeeping soldiers, wounding some of them, and the UNSC is just watching all this banditry. This is why we have been saying for years that 'the world is bigger than five.'

At this point, we all see this reality. The Israeli government, which pursues Zionist ambitions, will not stop its attacks as long as it receives unconditional support from America and Europe. Our Ministers of Foreign Affairs and National Defense expressed the real plan in a closed session. We have not forgotten that those who act as voluntary spokespersons for Israel today used the same sentences in the past for the Syrian branch of the separatist terrorist organization.

"OUR MINISTERS OF DEFENSE AND FOREIGN AFFAIRS HAVE CLEARLY REVEALED THE PICTURE WE ARE FACING"

Those who showed the most reaction to our operations towards northern Syria and Iraq were the same people. "EVACUATIONS FROM LEBANON WILL CONTINUE"

With the occupation of the Rafah Border Crossing by Israeli forces, there has been a serious decrease in the amount of aid delivered to Gaza. Israel is trying to prevent aid by terrorizing the UN agency for Palestinian refugees. We are striving to deliver our aid to the people of Gaza in need before winter arrives. We are also carrying out the evacuation of our citizens in Lebanon. Our evacuation operations will continue if there is a need and demand. I also leave those humanity-deficient individuals disguised as journalists and politicians who have racist attacks even on such a humanitarian issue and who smear our evacuation operation with lies and slanders to the conscience of our nation.

"TURKEY IS AT THE TOP IN UAV AND SİHA SALES"

We held the 9th TEKNOFEST, which has now become a brand of Turkey, in Adana. TEKNOFEST Adana has strengthened our hopes for the future of our country. Our dear nation knows very well where we have come from in the defense industry despite many secret and open embargoes. We are among the top 4 countries in the world in UAVs. Last year, 65 percent of sales in this field worldwide were carried out by Turkish defense industry companies. Our defense exports reached the figure of 5.6 billion dollars. We achieved a serious record by exporting products to 178 different countries in 2024. We will continue to support our defense industry with a spirit of mobilization.

"ORUÇ REİS WILL CONDUCT SEISMIC ACTIVITIES IN 3 FIELDS IN SOMALI SEAS"

We will correctly read the developments in the world, analyze the incubation periods of groundbreaking technologies very well, and plan for tomorrow correctly, not seeing saving today as sufficient. At the opening of the 2024-2025 academic year, we emphasized our expectations from universities in scientific research. On Saturday, October 5, we sent off our seismic research vessel Oruç Reis from the Bosphorus to Somalia. Oruç Reis will conduct seismic activities in 3 fields in the Somali seas.

"WE MUST STRENGTHEN THE GROUND FOR DIALOGUE IN POLITICS"

In the dense and dark atmosphere in which our region finds itself, it is extremely important to consolidate and reinforce our internal front, that is, to tidy up our own house while closely dealing with issues outside. The way to do this is primarily through strengthening the ground for dialogue in politics. It is not possible for the political institution to continue on its path with old habits while new conflicts break out every day just beyond our borders.

At this point, what we need to do is clear; we must not allow those who wait for Turkey to be dragged into a vortex of hopelessness and the legionnaires within them to fuel the tension. We cannot consent to attempts to push Turkey out of the equation by cornering it through its internal dynamics. Whoever makes a move to undermine the climate of normalization spreading from politics to society certainly does not want the best for Turkey. Whoever targets the efforts aimed at strengthening our country's security belt by appearing to be on the side of justice, and digs up painful memories again, is clearly in a state of treason.

Turkey has recently entered a climate of normalization in politics. The search for common ground among political actors, especially on national issues, has begun to increase. The will to remove the political institution from the high tension dragged by 3 elections has found a response in political parties and our society. Some steps that are a sign of good faith have been taken. Attempts to poison this atmosphere before it bears fruit have also intensified. We do not consider it well-intentioned for some former politicians, who have been excluded by their party and even declared persona non grata, to wander from screen to screen, attacking left and right with polarizing rhetoric, and putting the normalization atmosphere on the target board with provocative words.

We consider it a torment to respond to the insulting expressions of the person who lost every election he entered and finally broke a record by losing the election race in his party, regarding his former partners with whom he aspired to govern Turkey together. It is a sign of insincerity for those who are expected to distance themselves from terrorism and violence to embrace the language of terror instead.

We are trying to establish an axis of brotherhood that embraces everyone in our entire region, regardless of whether they are Turkish, Turkmen, Arab, or Kurdish. Some immediately engage in behaviors and actions that will sabotage this axis of brotherhood. We will not allow the extended hand to be tried to be broken instead of being held tightly.

We will not remain indifferent to this either. While there is so much fire in our region, and it is approaching our country every day, everyone should come to their senses. The climate of normalization never means that we will compromise on the security of our country and nation or turn a blind eye to provocations. Our will to eliminate all kinds of threats is complete. We do not and will not allow the bad scenes that have taken place in the memory of our nation to be experienced again.

"WE DO NOT TURN A BLIND EYE TO PROVOCATIONS"

While there is so much fire in our region, and it is approaching our country every day, everyone should come to their senses. The climate of normalization never means that we will compromise on the security of our country and nation or turn a blind eye to provocations. Our will to eliminate all kinds of threats is complete. We do not and will not allow the bad scenes that have taken place in the memory of our nation to be experienced again.

"WE CAME TOGETHER WITH VERY DIFFERENT SEGMENTS DURING OUR VISIT"

We have accelerated our external contacts so that our country and its surroundings can turn into an island of peace and stability. Our visit to Albania and Serbia contained very important messages. We further advanced our bilateral relations with a total of 15 agreements with both countries. During our visit, we came together with very different segments. It was a special joy for me to open the Namazgah Mosque, the largest mosque in the Balkans. With its magnificent architecture, its central location in the very heart of Tirana, its congregation capacity of 8 thousand people, and its other features, the Namazgah Mosque has been a source of pride and inspiration. I would like to thank Mr. Edi Rama and everyone who contributed to the opening of our mosque, and our institutions. We will soon see the positive reflections of our very productive meetings with Serbian President Mr. Vucic.

"THE PERCEPTION OF IMPUNITY WILL DEFINITELY BE ELIMINATED"

We also evaluated other issues on the agenda comprehensively. We will definitely implement the necessary legal regulations to eliminate the perception of impunity that causes complaints among our nation. We had already drawn the general framework for this.

Today, we gave the necessary instructions to our cabinet members. Our relevant ministers will work together with our partners in the People's Alliance to ensure that legal steps are taken. Our Ministry of Family will create social risk maps for addiction, digital addiction, suicide, and child abuse. With the family guide system, we will have the opportunity to intervene at a very early stage. We will especially focus more on studies aimed at preventing crime.

The duty of the state is to ensure that the citizen has access to healthy and reliable food. This is the purpose of the inspections carried out by our Ministry of Agriculture.

Our Food Control teams have carried out 990 thousand inspections. We will continue these inspections by increasing them, and we will never turn a blind eye to endangering the health of our citizens. We will present all kinds of problematic situations to the information of our public in a fair, fast, and transparent manner.
