'Erdoğan' slogans chanted at the October 29 Republic Day ceremony at Anıtkabir

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and state officials arrived at Anıtkabir for the October 29 Republic Day. Following the ceremony, slogans in favor of Erdoğan were chanted at Anıtkabir.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived at Anıtkabir as part of the October 29 Republic Day program and laid a wreath at the mausoleum of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey.

Erdoğan later signed the Anıtkabir Special Book.

In the message he wrote in the Special Book, Erdoğan stated the following:

"Dear Atatürk, today we are experiencing the rightful joy of reaching the 101st anniversary of our Republic, which is the greatest work of our nation entrusted to us by you, and at the same time a source of pride. On this day of pride, I congratulate all our citizens living in our country and all over the world, and all our kinsmen whose hearts beat with ours, on the October 29 Republic Day. On this occasion, I once again commemorate you, your comrades-in-arms, and our dear martyrs with gratitude. At a time when borders in our region are once again being drawn with blood and tears, just as they were a century ago, we are taking every measure to protect the survival of our homeland and the security of our nation. The spirit of unity, solidarity, and brotherhood that ensured the crowning of the national struggle with the proclamation of the Republic guides us in this process and illuminates our path like a beacon. The Republic of Turkey, under the leadership of confident and competent cadres, continues its magnificent journey from the past to the future more decisively than ever. May your soul rest in peace."

'ERDOĞAN' SLOGANS AT ANITKABİR AGAIN...

Following the ceremony, slogans in favor of Erdoğan were chanted at Anıtkabir.

 

 

IT HAS BECOME A HABIT

In recent years, chanting slogans in favor of Erdoğan at Anıtkabir has practically become a habit. Previously, in addition to national holidays, slogans for Erdoğan were chanted even on days of mourning, including November 10, showing disrespect to the Great Leader Atatürk.

CONTRARY TO LAW

According to Article 35, titled "Ceremonies," of the Regulation on the Execution of Anıtkabir Services, published in accordance with Law No. 2524 on the Execution of Anıtkabir Services: "At Anıtkabir, only wreaths may be laid and ceremonies may be held to show respect to Atatürk. Ceremonies, marches, and demonstrations cannot be organized for other purposes, and wreaths cannot be laid. Any attitude, action, word, writing, or behavior that does not befit the spiritual presence of Anıtkabir is not permitted."

HE WILL ACCEPT CONGRATULATIONS AT THE PALACE

Following his visit to Anıtkabir, Erdoğan will accept October 29 Republic Day congratulations at the Palace.
