Erdoğan speaks with Aliyev: A firefighting aircraft will be sent
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

According to a statement from the Presidential Communications Directorate, the meeting addressed bilateral relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, as well as regional and global developments.
During the call, Azerbaijani President Aliyev conveyed his best wishes to President Erdoğan regarding the forest fires.
Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan is ready to provide all kinds of support in the fight against the forest fires and, in this context, has given instructions for a firefighting aircraft to join the efforts in Turkey.
President Erdoğan thanked the Azerbaijani people for their support and noted that the brotherhood between Turkey and Azerbaijan is further strengthened during such times.
