Erdoğan travels to Azerbaijan: Cevdet Yılmaz to serve as acting president
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will serve as acting president during AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Azerbaijan.

The decree regarding Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz serving as acting president has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the decree, since AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be visiting the Republic of Azerbaijan on May 28, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will serve as acting president until his return, in accordance with Article 106 of the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye.
