Erdoğan travels to the TRNC

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has traveled to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) for the 50th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation.

Preparations have been completed in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) for the 50th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has traveled to the TRNC within this scope.

Erdoğan saluted the military honor guard at Atatürk Airport. He then shook hands with those waiting to see him off before boarding the plane.

Erdoğan, who traveled to the TRNC on the "TC-CAN" aircraft, was seen off by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, AKP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, and other officials.

ERDOĞAN IN THE TRNC

Erdoğan was welcomed at Ercan Airport in Nicosia by TRNC President Ersin Tatar, TRNC Assembly Speaker Zorlu Töre, TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, Turkey's Ambassador to Nicosia Metin Feyzioğlu, and other officials. Erdoğan is accompanied by Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Numan Kurtulmuş, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, Democratic Left Party (DSP) Chairman Önder Aksakal, and Great Unity Party (BBP) Chairman Mustafa Destici. Erdoğan will first lay a wreath at the Atatürk Monument and then attend the July 20 Peace and Freedom Day Parade on Fazıl Küçük Boulevard.

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel will also take part in the celebrations.
