Speaking at the event, Erdoğan reacted strongly to Israel's attacks on Gaza. He said, "The West and others have set the world on fire for their own security."
Stating, "We will thwart the efforts, which have increased significantly in recent times, to make our children prisoners of global deviant movements," Erdoğan added, "We will not give an opportunity to those who want to imprison our youth in the virtual worlds of certain platforms and deprive them of the great civilization accumulation they possess. We will thwart the efforts to detach our children from their faith, culture, family, self, and gender, and make them prisoners of global deviant movements."
